I've grown it since 1987.  Got it from a CA grower, and the first few years
were shaky.  Some rot, not a lot of bloom.  Perhaps it had to get acclimated,
because its been doing very well for the past few years.  Blooms well, stands
up well.  It does  lose bloomstalks to late, hard frosts--as do many other
varieties here.  A good stalk of it is a treat to view; beautiful branching.
