Sorry I can't help you out concerning which catalog. However, Twyla Ohmstead
has graciously consented to draw cartoons for the "Medianite" , the newsletter
for the Median Iris Society. Several of her cartoons were featured in the last
couple of issues.
In this same vein of thought I'd like to put together a collection of iris
graphics (art) that could be used for newsletters, show bulletins, etc. I'm
putting together a web page for AIS Region Four which will be online shortly and
will make it available there for all to download. I don't want anything
copyrighted, but any iris type line art that can be used as fillers, displays,
etc. would certainly benefit all editors such as I who cannot draw a straight
line. I guess what I really want to create is a public domain iris graphics
resource location for all to freely use and distribute. It's OK to send graphics
to me if you're interested in contributing, or send me a pen & ink drawing and
I'll scan it. I'll be glad to give credit to the artist(s) online, but would
have no control once the graphic has been downloaded. Do you think that we
could use something such as this?
