I am one of the few (or many ?) who sees the 'newer' Siberians losing
some of their classic, beautiful form as well with the horizontal-type falls
being favored in some quarters...and winning awards....now, I do like some
of these irises and grow them myself, mainly the progeny of the famous WHITE
SWIRL (Cassebeer '57) which proved to be a great parent, etc.

Being an novice gardener of Siberians (less than 4 years) - I am
ready to be corrected and admonished by some of the 'seasoned' growers
and hybridizers on this list! I am probably all wet in my assessment. :)
