Someone - asked about digest mode and some of us not reading ALL the
messages. When I first signed on to the list (2 weeks after it started?) and
was trapped indoors because of the winter weather, with nobody here to talk
to but the four leggeds and DESPERATELY in need of being reminded that plants
would grow again some day, plus all the excitement of finding iris FANATICS
to share my obsession with and to learn so much new stuff.... I spent a LOT
of time posting and reading messages. Now, I can't bear to miss out on
anything, but the yard is full of grass that needs to be cut and the
copperheads will be after me and the tractor has a flat tire and a dead
battery and.... and....
So, I need to budget my time spent playing in this wonderful cyberland. In
February, I would have been happy to read just about anything even faintly
related to a green plant. Now, I just don't have time. Some folks who
subscribe to this list also subscribe to other lists (how do they ever get
anything done!), sooo... remember to edit the subject line.
And, some of us don't read our mail every day and mail servers can take
their own sweet time about delivering mail - so be patient. I am about 2
weeks behind on stuff I want to post. And answering digested mail is more
timeconsuming.
