Those of us who aren't at the AIS convention get to stay home
and enjoy our own bloom! 'April Ballet' (MDB) has been blooming
since last week. It looks wonderful near some red species tulips.
'What Again' (SDB) opened yesterday. It's supposed to be a
rebloomer. Has anyone had success with it? It's a cute little
thing, good contrast between the violet standards and brown
falls.
The hostas are emerging; the daffodils and hyacinths are in bloom,
and the big fritillarias are about to start. I presume all this
means we're due for a blizzard!
