Tom, I had heard of the book but never seen it. Small world.

I will find out about the garlic, I am transplanting about 25 orphans
tonight into a garlic bed. We do not seem to have borer problems here, tho
we do have beetle larvae that bore into the bulbs here during the winter,
before they metamorhose (?). I will post any interesting findings, and hope
these will bloom next year and I can perhaps find what they are. They are
more babies from the "house next door" debacle, planted last fall and doing
well.

Great info this weekend, this is the only thing I look forward to coming to
work (early, to read this) for.

Laughter and smelly (or aromaticly inclined) handed,
Sharon A. Ruck, the herb and Harley Davidson lady
