One of my genetic experiments -- expected to produce information rather than
seedlings worthy of introduction -- has given a nice surprise:
A HUMONGOUS 1/4-bred, with good form & substance, and very unusual pattern:
lilac standards and rust on yellow broken-color falls. And its maternal line
is I. korolkowii -- gotta think about this one for awhile....
