HYB: Breakthrough Blue


Blues are still rare among the arilbreds -- but every few years another good one
turns up.  One opened this morning that was good enough to provoke a lengthy
garden discussion with one of my neighbors, in spite of the very cold wind.  

You were wondering what it looks like?  Picture standards a bit lighter than
royal blue, falls a bit redder -- with prominent veining.  Mama's form, Papa's
color, and a combined pattern.  (To save Walter from having to ask:  it's from
WISHED FOR CHILD X WERCKMEISTER'S BEAUTY.
