The yellow iris in my front yeard came into bloom today -- first flower of
the season and no other bloom stalks in sight anywhere. This is the first
time ever that one of my iris has bloomed before the daffodils have
finished. Very weird.
To the point: I don't know the name of my yellow iris, so I took my 1997
Cooley's catalog out to see if I could find a match. It looks very much
like SUNDAY SUNSHINE, which shows bloom time as EM and height as 36" (mine
is 37"). Trouble is, SUNDAY SUNSHINE is shone as (R. Ernst, '87) and my
iris was planted by a landscaper in May 1987. Could I possibly have SUNDAY
SUNSHINE, and if not, any ideas of what else it might be? Thanks very
much..... REALLY!

P.S. Thanks for all the feedback on Wabash; educational, interesting,
satisfying, fun. No one could want more from a group of friends.
