You're lucky! Hereabouts Bur Buttercup (p. 534*) and Redstem Filaree (p.
352*) are already in bloom (wish I could say the same thing about irises).
Their flowers are too inconspicuous to categorize them as "wildflowers".
OTOH, they are not invasive enough or so difficult to control as to qualify
as major weed problems on the order of bindweed, quackgrass, Canada
thistle, or dandelions. (Page references are to "Weeds of the West").
