Dear Sterling: My best new SDB is OO 13-3-3, a cool white with long deep
blue beards and horizontally-flaring falls. Extra large and extra wide,
Great parentage for rebloom, so hope it will do so this year. I believe it
is fertile both ways.
BLESSED ASSURANCE is a daffodil yellow bitone with excellent color and
form. Just a bit taller and larger than an SDB. Wish it might be fertile,
and was last year as a pod parent. Then I mislaid the seeds!!!! It is I
BLESS X MARMALADE SKIES.
I dearly love my OO 70B-2 which has two blooms open today. Cool white
with hints of blue on the very long spoons! TB x pumila, I think MARGARET
HELEN X pumila. Alas, it bears no pollen, but is pod fertile.
My first Orange Tiger sdlg opened today. I went to find it and could
not! I know I am showing the effects of age, but that was embarrasing! The
pod parent was LADY EMMA X Little showoff.
I BLESS is great again. It has been trying to rebloom all winter long, but
of course kept getting frozen. LOW HO SILVER open today and excellent. Both
of these are from BABY BLESSED, and both are wonderful growers.
Hope this is enough of an answer, Sterling O. Lloyd Z in Durham NC
