Griff. Many thanks for your quote from Molly Price, in The Iris Book
(1966). I have the book but rarely refer to it on species matter and my
interest in Carpathia was coming from that perspective whereas I should
have approached it the other way. I do not have any yellow pumila and
would certainly try to get one, they sound attractive in their own
right.
Ian, in Ottawa where winter damage is minimal this year although
tectorum looks like boiled cabbage! Luckily, it usually recovers from
this state of "death"!
