Thanks, Barb -- I was looking at some pretty "weeds" in the Saguaro
National Monument yesterday evening -- including a double bloom on a
foot-high cactus at roadside that resembled a fuchsia peony --
magnificent!
Griff Crump, along the tidal Potomac near Mount Vernon, VA -- who
tromped 18 holes on the golfcourse with his son and new son-in-law
outside of Tucson last Friday, declined the sunscreen after scraping the
frost off the windshield before leaving for the links, and is now paying
(peeling) for it. That western sun is powerful stuff.
