When we were first married my husband was a "plumer" and his brother laid
"masonary" (their spellings, not mine). Thank goodness they've both worked
their way up into management!
The crocus are nearly done, the hyacinths are at their best, the daffodils are
showing buds but the tulips are reluctant to show anything in this cold, wet
weather. No iris here in southeast Nebraska yet, even my tiny little yellow
babies aren't showing buds yet. The only activity in the iris beds has been
me checking for rot with a knife in one hand and the Comet in the other.
