I had 2 rz that were fairly weak last season, but put up bloomstalks.
Neither had any increase, so I lopped the stalks off as soon as the
first bud started opening, and put them in a vase. The rz. subsequently
put on increase and I 'saved' them. Oddly enough, one was 'Lady Friend'
and my other rz of LF had 14 increase.
