Re: HYB: Sutton's mutation

Hi all,
Am I correct in saying that this 'mutation' is a chimera? If so I feel
that the seeds corresponding to the two plain coloured petals will
produce 'non-chimera' plants of two different genetic types, and the
seeds corresponding to the two coloured petal may produce further
chimeras.
Does anyone have any ideas on this?
