Bloom report

Today no wind and the following:

CLEARWATER (Woods '98) - wonder what the official description is. This
along with two other '98 intros were bonus plants with cultivar names and
hybridizer, but of course no descriptions. At least one of the others is
going to bloom as well. I think I like surprises.

CITY LIGHTS (Dunn, M '91) - short stalk due to freeze, but no deformity
apparent. Lucked out.

Am going to have a higher percentage attempt to bloom on the fall planted
varieties than I expected. But an old standby which has never failed to
bloom - ever - is not going to bloom this year!!?? Jealous of the new ones
perhaps.

Also, five buds emerging from the white spuria. This one usually blooms
well after the TBs. Plus, I didn't expect any bloom since it was relocated
last fall.
