Re: OT: cat-proofing your iris beds

Dennis, go to your local pet store and look for a product called Get off my
Garden.  It is a green globy substance that kind of smells like Murphy's Oil
Soap, but they don't like it and they don't like to get it on their paws.  If
you ring the problem plants, the kittens should move on to more fun endeavors,
like chasing bugs.  I have used it for years with my animals and have had good
luck and never any harm to the plants.
