===================================
I have never participated in these polls before thinking that I simply had
too many favorites to list. In an idle spell awhile ago I was wondering
which would be the last remaining bearded iris if I had to dispose of them
one by one.I ended up "keeping" Maui Moonlight: Intermediate
Hybridizer:  Aitken
Introduced: 1987
Lemon yellow self.

Not flashy but a very well made iris I think. It perhaps is at it's best
just near dusk when it glows in the garden. It is tough also. About a year
ago, I got stupid and drove my truck over one clump of it. It didn't look
too god for a while but still managed to come back and put on a good display
a few weeks later. Okay I drive an old truck that is not very heavy anymore
since most of it has rusted away. (Whoops, oxidized - sorry Rusty)
