chris listed my favorite iris and for the same reasons. so I will add
to this list with my second favorite -- I. flavescens. I got a start of
it from an old farm garden and in no time at all, had 80 divisions. the
very next spring all the new starts grew like wildfire and flowered.
these just don't quit, and I love that soft yellow. All I know about it
is that it is an historic and I got that info from this very list.
