CULT: weird weather

Here at the northern tip of Zone 7, the first TB to bloom (tomorrow) is
GYRO, registered as M-L, to be followed in a day or so by CLARENCE, M,
and SUKY, E-M. Clarence's tallest stalk is 38"; Suky's 36". Two of my
VLs, usually the last bloomers in the garden (late May), have
bloomstalks well up. Dozens of other TBs have bloomstalks, but the only
SDB or MDB blooming is BLITZ (3d day). Of the rest, some are budding,
some not. Meantime, many of my new seedlings are already ready to
transplant, but they're going to have to wait. Everything has been stood
on its head.
