As I recall, the outcome indicated THORNBIRD had some variation among
those who were growing it, some where it looked similar and some where
it looked otherwise.  I believe Steve Rocha said his looked more like the
Bulletin cover and posted a photo on his website.  Haven't checked lately,
but think it may still be shown.

Zone 7 - and doubt that the cultivar sent as HELEN COCHRAN is a variation
or a sport.
