Hi Everyone--
I've been following this thread and it seems to me another one of our
tempests in a teapot. Everyone is entitled to his own opinion
especially when we are so aware that different plants look different in
different regions. What is a dog (and I still hate this word applied to
ugly things since my dogs are so beautiful and I really take it
personally when someone critizices them :-) )to one person is Sleeping
Beauty to another. I just don't understand how a person can be so
thin-skinned as to suppose that criticism of one's favorite plant is
criticism of one's self. Didn't this go on last year over something
else? and didn't it lead to a funny thread about the the metaphor
"dog"? the interesting thing about all this is it leads to people
bending over backwards trying to make the thin-skinned feel better.
Let's all lighten up! And probably Bill and Walter have said this
better than I have.
