Finally! I think spring's really sort of here, and I actually have a few
irises blooming, to whit:
PUSSY TOES (MDB), tiny, yellow-green, and perfect
BEING BUSY (SDB), loud mustard and maroon with its stunning light blue
beard, but it never blooms at its registered height here, always more like
8"
bunches of purple MDB/SDB seedlings
And there are lots of fat buds here and there, but I never count on them
until they actually unfurl into genuine flowers--there's still too much that
could happen to them.
