I find this very interesting Bill, I also have a clump of I.typhifolia that I
have been growing just for this purpose (crossing with Siberians). I will
likely make a number of crosses this year with it and other Siberians.
Obviously we will have to wait a couple of years for the results but what you
have sounds promising. Wondering how the foliage on your cross will be later in
the year as typhifolia usually flops all over later on in the season. Keep us
posted.
