Yesterday the only spuria I have bloomed, no known name. Nice
with a species look, white with yellow blotch. So this week there
are TBs, SIBs, the spuria and one lingering dutch iris blooming. The
LA - BLACK GAMECOCK is loaded with bloom stalks and showing
just a bit of color. Guess it will replace the Dutch iris.
May try slicing a rhizome too. I brought an iris from Austin years
ago and it is blooming for only the second time, but has not increase.
It's nice - a dark, navy blue and very, very late. I thought I was through
with TB bloom stalks, but it is just now emerging from the fan.

after they've finished all the laborious multiplication.
