Thanks for the seedling report. I find this facinating, even though I myself
am not hybridizing.
My first TB bloomed today, it is a peach-pink iris 36" tall with 6 buds,
,very prolific bloomer and increaser, and doesn't need moving every 3 years
either, although I usually give some away every year. It is also fragrant. I
sent 2 rhizomes to Phil Edinger last year at the AIS convention to grow and
hopefully to identify. It came from my grandmother's garden, and she died in
1969.
"Eagle's Flight" TB is in bud also. Last year it froze and the bloom fell
over and never opened.
I also have buds on "Immortality", "Feedback", and "Corn Harveast" all
(RE's) rebloomers and (TB's) tall bearded iris. Our show is almost a month
away, May 23, hope we have some bloom left.
"Grapesickle" SDB has 14 bloom stalks with 1 to 3 blooms each, "Hi" IB
has 5 bloom stalks with 3 to 7 blooms each.
