Today, 12 cubic yards of new topsoil arrived for new iris beds,
obviously a sign that winter was over! Much to my delight, I also found
a small I. pumila had blossomed, another reason to feel that we were
finally out of the cold into spring. I.reticulata and danfordiae
continue to flower.
Ian, in Ottawa where the weather is lovely but the nights still cool.
