Between iris borer and scorch I don't known how some irisarians hold out.
(Perhaps that's why so many iris nuts move from the East to Oregon.)
Thankfully here in California we don't have either problem (Scorch or borer.
We don't regard iris nuts as a problem.) For my own information, are some
iris varieties more resistant to borers than others? If so, here is a great
breeding project for potential hybridizers in the borer regions.
