Glitz N Glitter, which I love growing, has consistently produced the ugliest 
children I have ever seen.  A cross with Schreiner's Gypsy Woman (which 
everyone probably did about 7-10 years ago) had unspeakable results.  I still 
grow both, and get tempted to make the old cross, and then, thankfully, 
reason returns to its throne.
