Hopefully this helps. The member of the Loomis Iris Society spend endless hours point scoring all the varieties sent for display. The maintain the iris bed just south of the community library and unfortunately have very little control of the watering, human encroachment or the weather.
The Loomis Iris Society gives all hybridizers a chance to grow iris at an elevation of over 5000 feet and the climate can be unmerciful but it lets you know how hardy your iris are in this type of environment.
