Neil,
Since the most recent revision of the AIS Awards system went into effect in
the mid-1990's, a TB must win the Wister Medal before it is eligible to
compete with the medal winners from the other sections (BB, SDB, LA, etc.,
etc.) for the Dykes Medal. Merely receiving an AM no longer qualifies any
iris for Dykes Medal consideration.
