Re: PHOTO: finding pictures

You might try using the Google search engine. Type in the name of the
iris and the word <iris>. I've found a few I was looking for that way -
some were in online catalogs, some on home pages, not all were in
English. A lot faster than trying to wade thru catalog links.

Try the <advanced search> if you aren't successful using the simple
search.

It doesn't work too well if the iris name has <the> <of> or other really
common words in it. The search engine kicks them out & winds up
unlinking the rest of the name. For example, if you use the advanced
search to find 'RIDE THE WIND' and IRIS, it will give you all the links
to pages with the words <ride> <wind> and <iris>. So you will get a lot
of Greek mythology links about the goddess iris who rides the wind,
opportunities to ride horseback with somebody named iris and enjoy the
wind in your hair, etc, instead of links to pages with the whole phrase
'ride the wind'.
