I would suggest that instead of buying the very expensive cigarettes to make your spray or soup you would buy pipe tobacco, which costs much less. ;-) for Elmer and the Flit.

My grandmother used to make some tobacco gunk for garden purposes, but she
used the bulk tobacco such as Prince Albert, Bugler, or Bull Durham. I don't know if these products are available anymore. It seems they would be easier to use since you don't need the paper or filters from the cigarettes in your brew.
