It appeared to be effective in combating leaf spot, or I wouldn't have
continued to use it -- but readily admit that was decades ago. I did trim
the affected foliage first, then had to hold my breath while dusting sulfur
on the trimmed fans. The "haircut" plus sulfur treatment did seem to be
effective -- and I don't recall any lingering odors. Can't say how much the
lack of rot can be attributed to the cultivars, the raised beds, or the
sulfur treatment.
