Thank you Dorothy for reiterating this salient point.

This was one of the reasons this symposium thread was:
1) begun 2) continued. 

The tall bearded society (TBIS) should take the ball
and run with it, IMO.

Ellen (growing of MANY Tall Bearded irises as well as
other classes)
