Cats, pigeons, rugs and power are always an interesting combination. Walter
and I once had an off line discussion of this issue. I do not know that we
ever reached a consensus of opinion but we may have.
The conclusion I reached from our discussion was that the AIS, Regions and
Individual Clubs would be better served if the clubs were allowed to choose
the region with which they affiliate so long as that region was
geographically contiguous with the clubs physical location. Over time, some
regions would grow and others would die. All would be better served.
