tetraploids (snow flurry ) come form the middle east and western asia, warm
areas, not cold hardy, fail to survive winters and sensitive to warm rainy
summers. diploids from europe are tough, tolerent of abovementioned
conditions. Purissima (tetraploid) X Thais (diploid) = snow flurry (ancestry
of many popular varieties).
