Interestingly, both have rotted in my garden. PD disappeared last
winter/spring. Immortality is planted in two spots. In the main beds
with compacted clay soil and less than optimal sun, it grows well, stays
healthy, but does not bloom. In the sheltered raised rebloomer bed in
sandier soil and full sun, it rots, refuses to grow, but does
occasionally bloom. Go figure.
