Walter, they didn't ALL leave us - you're still here, Betty Wilkerson is
still here, Gary Sides is still here, to name a few Region 7 & Baja
hybridizers, plus there are others throughout the country who post
fairly often & as you say, Sharon still comes in to straighten us
fumbling daubers out now and then & I occasionally get notes from
lurkers.
Maybe a separate, moderated list for occasional hybridizing questions
that we can't answer here would get more input from winning
hybridizers? Or maybe submit questions to a moderator who would review
them and pass them along to a panel of cooperating hybridizers once a
month? Keep their emails private if they want.
<Actually, in the early days of this list there were a number of
hybridizers on board, including Dykes' Medal and section medal
winners. There was even some hybridizing talk, but, one by one, the
hybridizers left. Sharon McAllister comes back every once in awhile,
but that is about it. Walter Moores MISSISSIPPI, not Minnesota>
