Thank you for your reply. From what I read, the nematodes have to be in a 
moist environment in order to survive -- that doesn't sound like a good thing 
for my irises unless I had an underground irrigation system. I read somewhere 
that Cygon kills birds. Is this true? Just look at my screen name, this is 
the last thing I would want to have happen.
Has anyone tried or have any feed back on a product called "Iris Borer 
Deterrent by Garden Shield?
