Neil responds:
This is a thread I would also find useful. Here's a few I would
add as good candidates:
Maid of Avalon--both bod and pollen (expected, as the parentage is
Silverado X Mother Earth). I would expect the same from the newly
introduced sib Avalon Dreamer.
Shoptalk--pod.
Fogbound--both pod and pollen
Happenstance and Vienna Waltz--both pod and pollen
Some I've had little or no sucess with:
Wishful Thinking--I know it's fertile. I just don't get sets.
Vanda Song--ditto. Barry Blyth has some very good things from it. I
can't get it to set a pod.
Skywalker--after many tries that failed to set pod (no pollen at
all), I did get one pod--when I wetted a finger with saliva and
moistened the stigmatic lip on a fresh flower. That may or may not
have been a factor, but I DID get a pod. You will note few
registrations with it as parent, however.
