OT-PLANTS: hostas and sun (was re CULT: Soil conditioners)

Not necessarily. There are now numerous hostas that
can/will do well in sun. I can research the back
issues of 'The Siberian Iris' (where they were printed
from the Sibrob) but I _think_ this has been discussed
previously on this forum. Maybe not. Anyway, the
Sibrob on Yahoo-groups is open to non-members and the
post appeared within the last two years if someone is
so inclined to check. I don't have time today to look.
 

Ellen (if someone finds the Sibrob posts are not
accessible to non-members - the archives are also on
Mallorn like iris-talk - please let me know so I can
go in there and configure the list)
