Re: eye of the beholder

Hate to admit it, but I just remembered that I actually have a 'Thornbird'
in the garden.  I decided to see what all the hoopla was about, and ordered
one years ago.  I tend to ignore it, and think it is a hideous thing (maybe
it looks better in different soil?).  I'll probably give it away to make
room for something else soon.  BUT, on top of that I just remembered that I
ordered another SA this year - can you believe it?   I can't think of the
name off hand, but it was mentioned here not long ago.  It is an old one
that is supposed to be really vigorous, really fragrant, and when I looked
up the flower, I liked the old fashioned form and the coloring, in spite of
the horns.
