That does sound exciting John. NIGHT GAME (in bkg of SECRET SERVICE)
has been a superb iris here - a slow grower, but very reliable bloomer &
no tendency to stunt - very uniform.
I haven't joined the rush to buy LOUISA'S SONG yet, but did get her
sibling, SILK ROMANCE, this spring - it was growing like a weed in the
pot of sand, & is now doing the same in the ground in all this rain. No
sign so far of the tendency of so many dry climate bred TBs to rot after
intermittant drought and heavy rain.
<My most cherished seeds so far are 75 (2 pods) from Louisa's Song X
Secret
Service. Can't predict the colors, but patterns and
form should be exciting!
Louisa's Song: superlative ruffles and substance,S
lavender, F mid-purple
w/lav. edge.
Secret Service: S translucent smoke gray w/gilt edge,
F black.
seedlings: ??????????????????
