OT-CHAT: edibility of hornworm larvae

This is waaay off topic....

But ducks will eat them - I had a very tame white duck that used to
follow me up and down the tobacco rows begging for hornworm larvae while
I was doing pest patrol. One of my few fond memories of tobacco
farming. The other being swarmed by hummingbirds while topping plants
(breaking off the blooms, which the hummers love).

<...chickens will NOT eat those big fat hornworms...>
