Thanks all for the responses on this one.  I'm guessing that if it is
originally from Sass, it is probably a lot older than 1965.  I have a clump
of this which I only identified recently through comparison, and I think
I've had it for quite a number of years (I was really bad at keeping track
until recently though).  It's the only plant I had with the Iris variegata
"look".
