Well, drat. I just dug PRETTY B out of the weeds and she has gone into
decline. Just a few small remnants of rhizome with small single leaf
fans. The weeds actually weren't too bad right around her, but I think
the daily half to three inches of daily rain and temperatures in the
upper 80s have not made her happy.
So I have to take back what I said before about her doing well here.
MONSEIGNOR, on the other hand, which is right next to PB & planted the
same time from the same source, is growing like crazy. Sorry, no photo
- but it's on Mike Lowe's World Iris website.
