I have recently acquired a few rhizomes of a blue iris though I have no idea
what it might be. I simply wanted to see if I could restart a bed of iris
after losing the last lot through bad management.
I live in England and I should like to find a group similar to this though
in this country. Does anyone here know of one?
Meanwhile, I have been following the postings here with interest. The few
cutting a friend gave seem to be flourishing even though one of them was
damaged in transit whilst in the car. The foliage part of the rhizome came
away from the rhizome itself but I planted the two parts anyway and now both
foliage part is thriving and the rhizome has now produced two tender shoots
at either side.
Ideally, i should like to produce plants from seed. I simply cannot explain
why this interest in this plant has taken root as it were!
