OT-BIO for Harold Peters

I am in my early 60s and have been progressively more and more involved with
irises since 1986. I not only have the iris virus but I am a carrier. I have
about 900 TBs, 250 medians, maybe 60 LAs, 40 Siberians, 40 spuria, 30
arilbreds, 50 PCIs and even a few species X.  Most of these numbers will
change with 2004 acquisitions and deacquisitiions. I have a small commercial
garden less than 1 acre on a 5 acre parcel and market for another larger
garden with about 2 acres in irises.

I  have been active in the iris society world at the local society, Society,
Regional and even National level briefly. At this point I do almost all of
the outside work and still enjoy seeing a new-to-me cultivar bloom. I am not
into hybridizing as the tremendous disposal goes against my value structure
and is not real compatible with the overall garden structure.

The web site is embarrassingly out of date. Next year as the cry goes.
